Annual General Meetings

The 31 March has come and gone and it's that time to complete your year end accounts and prepare for your AGM.

Please refer to the AGM guidance on the admin website at www.sccheadquarters.com for all the upto date information on how to prepare and run your meeting.

Unit Minutes

The new Authority to Train Inspection paperwork will soon be rolled out and one of the questions posed is: - Is Health & Safety a regular item on UMC agendas.

Please ensure you are discussing and making minutes of your Heath & Safety Discussions so this can be positively assessed for your Unit.

Unit Management Team - Assessment

As you are aware all UMTs are assessed as part of the Authority to Train. In 2009 if any of the mandatory items are not completed then you will not receive a Pennant or Burgee, even if everything else says your Unit should.

Therefore please ensure that you:-

Complete your Form SCCA4 when requested to do so (much of it is already completed for you)

Complete your Charity Commission Return (including accounts if required)

Send us your accounts

Send us your minutes

And ensure we know when your AGM is

If you complete these simple tasks then your Units effieciency award would not be with held due to any UMT issue.
